Mustafa
Abdel-Wadood is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Sigma Capital
where he holds overall responsibility for Investment Banking
activities.
Prior to co-founding Sigma Capital, Mr. Abdel-Wadood last held the
position of Director of Development and Investments at Orascom where
he was in charge of overseeing a number of corporate investments and
acquisitions in the fields of technology, telecommunications,
leisure and media. During that period, Mr. Abdel-Wadood was
extensively involved with MobiNil
(Egypt’s largest mobile phone provider) to raise the project
finance, assist in the launch of operations and to set up the
Investor Relations function of the company.
Mr. Wadood has served or continues to serve on the Board of
Directors of numerous companies across a range of industries and is
a frequent lecturer and guest speaker at local and international
conferences and institutions. Recently, Mr. Wadood has been
selected as one of the World Economic Forum’s 100 Global Leaders for
Tomorrow for the Year 2002.
Mr. Abdel-Wadood is 32 years old and holds a Bachelors degree in
Business Administration from the American University in Cairo and an
MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC. |
