Mr. Magdy began his professional experience with Dallah Group.  He was brand manager for the Halwany line of products, responsible for marketing and sales strategies.

In early 1994, he joined EFG-Hermes where he was on the sales and business development side of the operation.  Mr. Magdy then moved into trading and the operational side of the business where he became head of trading.  His responsibilities included the mobilization of the sales team along with supervision of the transaction side of the business. 

Mr. Magdy has extensive experience in international markets as he was in charge of the GDR desk. Later, he assumed the duties of deputy executive director, in charge of trading, customer care and operations, as well as co-ordinating with the research department. Mr. Magdy has been especially active in the placements of numerous IPOs over the past two years. He commands comprehensive knowledge of the securities industry, and is one of our co-founders
