Mr. Abdel-Halim is responsible for managing the activities of Sigma-Capital’s fundamental research division. With extensive exposure to the different sectors of the economy, Mr Abdel Halim adds a comprehensive view to research. Prior to joining Sigma-Capital, Mr. Abdel-Halim headed the Research and Institutional Sales departments of National Securities, the brokerage arm of the National Bank of Egypt. In this capacity, he was assigned the establishment of the company’s research department as well as overseeing large institutional transactions. Before joining National Securities, Mr. Abdel-Halim headed Business Development at Misr Petrochemicals & Engineering Consultants, representing foreign engineering firms focusing on projects, in fields varying from effluent treatment and petroleum refining to urban development. Mr. Abdel-Halim graduated with a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences, and then obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from the American University in Cairo. |
